common interests.
I seek to combine critical social theories of the
environment and education with critical pedagogy. The resulting forms of
education are designed to empower citizens so that they are more able to
realize an ecological democracy. I have a particular interest in teacher education
and have taught at both De Montfort and South Bank universities.
